Barbacoa at BCA Summer Concert Series

Burlington City Arts' Summer Concert Series, presented by VSECU, features Silver Bridget on August 12.

Barbacoa has been playing original instrumental surf rock in Vermont for over two decades. Led by guitarist/songwriter Bill Mullins, the band has released two albums and their music has been used in many television and movie projects. Barbacoa's sound is inspired by 60's artists such as Link Wray and the Ventures, as well as classic spy movie and spaghetti western soundtrack music. The band also features the instrumental talents of Kirk Flanagan (bass), Jeremy Fredricks (drums) and Jeff Baron (guitar).

Burlington City Arts' is bringing music back to Church Street – safely – with our annual Summer Concert Series. All are welcome to enjoy these free concerts by Vermont musicians on lower Church Street, near City Hall. The series takes place on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:30 p.m. For many of the musicians featured in this summer's series, these concerts will mark their first gig in many months, so go cheer them on!
