Global Roots Festival

3 days of classic and lesser-known musical films, all introduced and MC’d by world-renowned composer and musical film historian Neil Brand.  The 2019 Global Roots Film Festival will focus on the development of musical films and the role they played in the history of cinema as a whole.

Lyric Theatre Company will produce a special live event for this year's festival. Neil Brand will also lead a special interactive program for the whole family about the role of sound in silent comedies.

Festival Passes are available HERE. It is highly recommended to purchase a Pass although individual tickets are also available. If you purchase a Pass you need not book individual screenings – just bring your pass to the door. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis.
