Community Fund Selection Panel Nomination Form

BCA Community Fund panelists will evaluate applications for grants to be made from the BCA Community Fund and will recommend funding. The ideal panelists will be able to effectively evaluate each application, based on the criteria set by BCA, their experience in the arts, and knowledge of Burlington's community.  Panelists must be capable of reading applications and sharing thoughts with fellow panelists in person with or without reasonable accommodation. Selected panelists will have approximately three weeks to thoroughly review and score each application, and must commit to attending one meeting of the full seven-member panel. 

For the 2017 grant year, the application schedule will be approximately as follows:

  • February 27, 2017: Grant application deadline
  • March 6, 2017: Panelists receive application materials and instructions for scoring
  • April 3-14: One panel meeting will within this time to discuss applications and select projects for funding recommendation

Panelist Selection:

Nominations should only be made for individuals who can meet the above criteria and commitments and ARE WILLING TO SERVE. Self-nominations welcome. Selected panelists are ineligible for funding in the current funding year and may not evaluate an application by a close relative or business partner. BCA staff will review panel nominations and select members with the goal of ensuring that the panel represents Burlington's diverse community, its geography, and multiple artistic disciplines. To nominate a panelist, please complete the following form:
