IN-PERSON BCA STUDIOS AT 405 PINE STREET
YOUTH & ADULT CLASSES (AGES 18+)

For all youth classes, students will remain in the same classroom with the same students and teachers for the entire four weeks. Please note there will be no mixing of students with other BCA groups.

All staff and students must pass a health screening before entering any BCA classroom. Please note that no one may enter our facility if they have symptoms of any illness or have not followed the State of Vermont’s travel regulations. Staff and students are required to wear a face covering/mask at all times while in the building.

Classes may be altered or canceled to comply with local and state regulations concerning the pandemic. Class fee refunds will only be given if the request is made at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the class. An administrative fee of 15% of the class price is non-refundable. Full refunds will be given if BCA cancels a class.

HOME STUDIO VIA ZOOM
YOUTH & ADULT CLASSES (AGES 13+)

Bring BCA Studios to you! BCA’s Home Studio Classes are designed to give you a creative push to keep making art at home. With the support of our knowledgeable teaching artists and fellow students, you can stay connected to our BCA community.

Each class includes convenient art supply kits to provide you with everything you need to get started, weekly instruction via Zoom, and personalized support with your projects. Plus, our teaching artists will have access to BCA Studio equipment and will be able to help you do what you can’t do at home, such as prep screens, print photos, and fire clay pieces in our kilns.

Registered students will receive an email one week before the class–separate from the class registration email–with the Zoom login information and instructions for picking up art supply kits. The email will come from kwilliams@burlingtoncityarts.org. If you do not see this email one week before class, please check your spam folder or call (802) 865-7157.

In an effort to increase access to arts-based learning, BCA is phasing out its membership program and offering this lower price for all. Prices for camps, classes, and studio access have been reduced to the former member rate, by about 10 percent. BCA’s membership program began over 30 years ago as a way to sustain a dedicated group of arts lovers engaging with educational offerings, programs, and events. The program succeeded in cultivating a tremendous community, but now is the right time to leverage this success to accommodate lower prices for all. And while we understand that a universal lower price expands access to many, we are continuing to grow our robust scholarship program so that its programming is available anyone who could use some financial assistance. If you are able, we hope you will join our effort to increase accessibility to the arts. Please consider making a donation to our scholarship fund, which allows more than 1 in 5 community members to access full or partial financial support for camps and classes.
