Join artist Cathy Della Lucia for a discussion of modularity, wood, and the shifting relationships between the body and the tools, toys, and weapons of everyday life. Through multi-part sculptures that combine traditional methods of making with digital fabrication, Della Lucia will share insights into her process, which moves seamlessly between digital, 2D, and 3D spaces. Cathy Della Lucia is an Assistant Professor of Sculpture at Boston College and resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
