Marina Prikis is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter and pianist based in Vermont, currently attending Middlebury College. She grew up in Nicosia, Cyprus and is Greek-Cypriot and Hungarian. She has loved to sing, write original music and perform for as long as she can remember, and studied classical piano for more than 12 years. At the age of 17, Marina decided to take it all to the next level by publishing her first song “take me to the lakeside” and building an online presence. Since then, she has continued sharing her music in so many ways, from recording and publishing more original songs and covers, to performing at songwriting competitions and venues across NYC and VT. In March 2023, Marina performed her original song "electricity" at Carnegie Hall as Second Place Winner of the We Sing Pop! International Song Contest 2022 by American Protégé. In addition, in March 2022, she was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2021 International Songwriting Competition. Her music has appeared on the Vermont Public Radio Show Safe & Sound, as well as on The Radiator by Big Heavy World.
