Will Kasso Condry brings his distinctive Afro-surrealist style to the BCA Center with Everything is Everything, an immersive exhibition of paintings and works on paper that weaves together parallel journeys of healing and discovery. Condry, a co-founder of Juniper Creative Arts, raws on imagery and characters from their Afro-Pollinators series, creating a mythic framework through which Kelis the Afronaut and other figures explore memory, the cycles of life, and the sacred intelligence of the natural world.
At the center of the exhibition is Kelis the Afronaut, who ventures across terrestrial and cosmic landscapes to forage and gather the plants, minerals, and elemental knowledge needed to support her mother, Alkimila, in preparing medicine for her ailing father, Vititi the Sage. Through richly layered imagery and storytelling, Condry invites viewers into a world where personal transformation, ancestral wisdom, and relationships with nature are deeply intertwined.
Everything is Everything coincides with a four-week youth artist apprenticeship program. Led by Juniper Creative Arts, an award-winning Vermont-based family collective known for community murals and culturally rooted arts programming that uplifts belonging and visual storytelling, the apprenticeship will culminate in a new public mural for Burlington this fall.
