In Labyrinth, Julie Dunigan fills her mixed media works with motifs inspired by human-built and nature-grown architectural forms. Exploring charged yet repetitive arrangements, she plays with color theory and the energy of mark-making in her complex compositions. Dunigan experiments with a spectrum of hues and tints, allowing collaboration and new relationships to form between colors that are typically separated.
