Sunday Classical

The Burlington Civic Symphony (BCSO) is Burlington, Vermont's premier auditioned community orchestra. Founded in 2011 by Daniel Bruce, Helen Read, and Martha Walker, the orchestra's membership has quickly grown to more than 60 talented musicians from Burlington and surrounding areas.

The BCSO's mission is to present high-quality performances of great orchestral masterworks and newer works by living composers and to bring symphonic music to diverse audiences through special programs such as pops and children's concerts.

Start your day on a high note with Sunday Classical. The state’s top classical players pair the summer breeze with an hour of musical vibrancy and relaxation in City Hall Park every weekend.

2023 City Hall Park programming is underwritten by the Pomerleau Family Foundation and The WaterWheel Foundation. Media sponsor, Seven Days. Coffee provided by Scout.
