Splash Dance Vintage: David Zacharis and Unhappy Hour
City Hall Park

Kids boogie down to Vermont’s best DJs in the splash fountain!

Unhappy Hour is Bobby and David, the DJ duo of Bobby Hackney Jr. (Rough Francis, The Wet Ones) and David Zacharis (The Smittens), two longtime friends and lifelong music lovers. Originally conceived as an excuse to make people listen to The Smiths, Unhappy Hour has grown into an eclectic celebration of sound that spans genres, decades, and moods. For this special family-friendly set in the heart of Burlington, Bobby and David will be spinning an upbeat mix of Indie, Punk, 60s French Yé-yé, Northern Soul, Mod, New Romantic, Brit Pop, 2-Tone Ska, 80s chaos, Hardcore, and all kinds of hidden underground gems. Expect danceable grooves, unexpected favorites, and plenty of musical sunshine.
