Jobsite

We invite you to join our Permanent Collectors, individuals and families who have made an extraordinary commitment to BCA’s mission of keeping the arts accessible to all by including BCA in their estate plans. Some of our donors find that they are able to make a substantially larger planned gift than would be possible with an outright gift during their lifetime.

Your legacy gift allows BCA to continue to meet our community’s most pressing needs through the arts, today and in the future.

To make a planned gift to BCA, please contact Development Director Faith James at (802) 865-7595 or fjames@burlingtoncityarts.org.

INCLUDE BCA IN YOUR WILL

To include BCA in your will, simply list Burlington City Arts (BCA) as a beneficiary. You may bequeath either a dollar amount or a percentage of your estate in a charitable bequest.

Sample Bequest Language: “I bequest [describe dollar amount, property to be given, percentage, or proportion of your residuary estate] to Burlington City Arts, a non-profit organization located at 135 Church Street, Burlington, VT 05401.”

MAKE BCA A BENEFICIARY OF YOUR RETIREMENT PLAN

Naming BCA as a beneficiary in your retirement plan is similar to a bequest.

DONATE A LIFE INSURANCE POLICY

When you give a life insurance policy to BCA, the cash surrender value of the policy or the cost of the replacement policy is deductible as a charitable contribution. If you continue to pay premiums after your gift, these premiums are also deductible.

ESTABLISH A CHARITABLE REMAINDER TRUST

A charitable remainder trust allows you or your beneficiaries to receive income from an asset, knowing that whatever remains will benefit one or more nonprofits of your choice.

Please contact Development Director Faith James at (802) 865-7595 or fjames@burlingtoncityarts.org for more information.

ESTABLISH A CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY

A charitable gift annuity can provide you with a steady source of income as early as age 60, while receiving an income tax deduction and providing support for your favorite charitable causes.

Please contact Development Director Faith James at (802) 865-7595 or fjames@burlingtoncityarts.org for more information.
