Born and raised in NYC/Harlem, bandleader Jenni Johnson is a longtime and beloved Vermont musical staple. She has performed around the world, including in Burlington’s Russian Sister City, Yaroslavl, as well as in Paris and Montreal. She has also sharpened her musical prowess by working with national jazz and blues musicians from New Orleans. With the Junketeers, she performs indelible jazz, soul, and swing. Her band includes Nick Warner on bass, brass instrumentalist Glendon Ingalls, Ian Koeller on drums, and keyboardist Bruce Cohen.
