Ted Perry is a pianist, composer, and arranger. Known for his warm, soulful touch and emphasis on lyrical melodies, grooves, and storytelling in his music. His unique voice blends various genres and includes elements of the blues, jazz, folk, and singer-songwriter genres. As a composer, his writing explores these diverse musical styles and offers his own personal perspective. He has also written and arranged music for solo piano, String Ensembles, Jazz Ensemble, Studio Orchestra, and a variety of small group settings. Ted recently recorded an album of new original compositions for piano trio with Drew Gress and Conor Meehan released May 2024.
