Sip your coffee and start Sunday on a high note throughout July and August with Sunday Classical!
The Burlington Civic Symphony (BCSO) was founded in 2011 by conductor Daniel Bruce and musicians Helen Read and Martha Walker. The orchestra's membership comprises more than 50 talented musicians from Northwestern Vermont and surrounding areas. Members include music educators and serious avocational musicians. The BCSO's mission is to present high-quality performances of great orchestral masterworks and newer works by living composers, and to bring symphonic music to diverse audiences through special programs such as pops and children's concerts. The orchestra welcomed Kim Diehnelt as its new music director beginning in 2025. Guest conductor Ron White will lead the orchestra for this BCA Sunday Classical concert.
