Nowak discovered her passion for creating abstract art several years ago while taking classes in Los Angeles. Although she had previously dabbled in formal drawing courses, expressing herself through abstract lines, shapes, and color resonated with her in a way that representative art had not.

Her work is inspired by the forces of nature and the expressive physical language of dancers. Nowak strives to capture the energy and movement of these subjects, inviting viewers to see the world in a new light. She utilizes a variety of mediums—including acrylics, watercolor, ink, and tissue paper collage—to explore these themes and create evocative compositions. Ultimately, Nowak hopes her work inspires a sense of wonder and curiosity regarding the beauty of the natural world and the evocative power of dance.
