Jo Bled is the percussion/electronics project of Burlington-based composer and improviser JB Ledoux. “Bled's music 'equally resembles a garbage truck compacting metal trash in a pre-dawn alley, and a gamelan orchestra heard through a malfunctioning walkie talkie,” writes The Wire. For Jazz Lab, Bled performs in the BCA Center main floor gallery in concert with the artworks of Outstanding: Contemporary Self-Taught Art, a current exhibition that explores regional self-taught artists.
